Home sales in 2014 decreased to 39 from 43 in 2013, but the Average Home Sale Price increased on average by $269,089. At the same time there were 16 fewer New Listings in 2014 and 12 fewer Active Listings. Surely, the desirability of the neighbourhood helped with the increase in sale price, but continually low interest rates also helped in this regard. During the same period, the Average Number of Days on the market decreased from 21 in 2013 to 19 in 2014 which was certainly good for home sellers. The Percentage of Sold Price To Listing Price stayed the same at 98% over the same period of time. The majority of Bayview Northeast real estate sales came from detached homes followed by freehold townhouses as shown below with breakdown by type. The sales statistics of this desirable neighbourhood is another indicator of the strength of the overall Aurora Housing Market.
