Home sales in 2014 increased to 29 from 25 in 2013, and the Average Home Sale Price increased on average by $11,766. At the same time there were 10 more New Listings in 2014 and 7 fewer Active Listings. The price per home increased as more condos came on the market, and the total Dollar Volume increased, too. Surely, the desirability of the neighbourhood helped with the increase in sales, but continually low interest rates also helped in this regard with the sale price. During the same period, the Average Number of Days on the market remained the same at 42 in 2014 which was still good for home sellers. The Percentage of Sold Price To Listing Price increased to 98% from 97% for the same period of time. The majority of Aurora Village real estate sales came from detached homes as shown below with breakdown by type. The sales statistics of this desirable neighbourhood is another indicator of the strength of the overall Aurora Housing Market.
