Kingis changing rapidly in terms of real estate sales and property types. Expansion is underway in King City with new subdivisions on both sides of King Road east of Keele Street, and on the south side of King Road west of Keele Street. New townhomes and condominiums are providing alternate choices to detached homes. Schomberg is, also, expanding with new homes that include townhomes and condominiums. Nobleton is showing the same growth patterns as well with new home development off Highway 27. Pottageville has new homes but mostly from infill in existing older subdivisions. It still retains its rural charm, as does Rural King, even though Rural King is home to some estate residential subdivisions closer to the borders of Aurora and Newmarket.

I have compiled all the information for the year 2015 for total sales and average prices in each of the Neighbourhoods of King. If you are interested in the listing or final sales price for any of these properties, please call me at (905) 883-8300, or e-mail me at:
The average property sale price for the King neighbourhoods is much higher than many other York Region towns. The highest average sales price is in Rural King because most of the properties are larger pieces of land or more expensive estate homes. The homes in King City are the second most expensive on average in King. The total number of solds is slightly higher, however, in King City than in Rural King. The average sales price in Schomberg is probably due in part to the greater distance of the village to larger urban centres. These sale prices reflect the continuing desirability of owning property in King.
