Richmond Hill is one of the fastest growing municipalities in the Greater Toronto Area. Its neighbourhoods are continually growing with new detached homes and amenities to attract new buyers and keep the existing residents in the Town. The many neighbourhoods that make up Richmond Hill are listed below with the sales for freehold properties separated into the various sales categories. For the SECOND QUARTER of 2012 as in the first quarter, it is interesting to note that the greatest number of sales occurred in Oak Ridges followed by Jefferson in second place. Most of the recent new homes have been built here, so it is understandable that home buyers are attracted to these neighbourhoods. As well, townhomes and townhouses have been constructed allowing for a broader spectrum of price ranges for new home owners.

Once again, Oak Ridges had the greatest number of yearly second quarter sales, followed by Jefferson, Rouge Woods and Lake Wilcox. The greatest average sale price occurred in Rural Richmond Hill with Bayview Hill and South Richvale following closely behind. Rural Richmond Hill had the fewest sales with 5 in total.
